Non-Core Drilling

Non-Core Drilling may be done for various reasons in mines such as installation of water and sand stowing ranges, submersible pumps, lowering of cables and for ventilation. Coal Bed Methane projects also require the service of Non-Core Drilling.

Experts in our firm render the service of Tubewell Drilling, Underground Pumping and Ventilation Drilling etc. in compliance with the international quality norms. MAPL has a number of Hydraulically Operated Truck or Crawler Mounted DTH-cum- Rotary Rigs fitted with diverse capacity air compressors. MAPL has 6 nos. of truck/trailer mounted Direct Rotary Rigs of different capacities and a Reverse Circulation Rotary Rig along with large quantity of rotary and DTH drill rods and diverse sizes of drill collars and R.R bits; different sizes of DTH hammers and bits and R.C drill rods. Moreover, it has ODEX drilling equipments. MAPL has specially trained dedicated manpower for round the clock operations. MAPL has in its inventory 4 nos. of heavy duty Top Drive fully hydraulic Rotary/DTH rigs (3nos. RD20-III from Atlas Copco; and 1 no. Soil Mec G-55)for drilling of Oil, Gas and Coal Bed methane.

We have successfully emerged as the biggest contractor for Non-Core Drilling and have Rate Contracts in ECL, BCCL and SECL for drilling up to 24"diameter and in TISCO up to 12" diameter holes in their coal mines. We have also taken up projects of CBM Drilling which requires drilling up to large depths.
