As maximized productivity of the well directly depends on the Perforations, these vital operations should be right located in the productive interval, correctly oriented, deep and clean.
MAPL uses Wire-line (or electric line) which is the conventional way to run Perforating Guns with a good reason that Wire-line provides the advantage of real time depth control & selectivity along with reduced logistics as compared to deployment of tubing. We have CCL (Casing Collar Locator) attachable with the Guns for correlation of different depth of the producing zones. MAPL uses Shaped Charges, Detonators and Perforating Guns (scallop ) of different lengths which are used for different length of producing zones as per client’s interest. We also have certified experienced engineers & technicians for this operation in our organization.

Bridge-Plug Setting:

MAPL uses Setting tools to set down-hole completion elements like Bridge-Plug that is located and set to isolate the lower part of the Production Well. Bridge plug may be permanent or retrievable enabling the lower section of the well permanently sealed from production or temporarily isolated from a treatment conducted in an upper zone of the well. A hydraulic piston assembly is attached to the plug by means of a setting mandrel and a sliding sleeve, which when “stroked” by the piston assembly, effectively squeezes the elastomeric elements of the plug element, deforming it sufficiently to wedge it into place in the casing string. Most completion plugs have a specially designed shear mechanism which releases the setting tool from the element allowing it to be retrieved back to surface.
